Who were Sayuri Jade Ruiz and Hector Pfeiffer? St Petersburg Murder-Suicide Victims Identified

Two teens who died in a tragic homicide-s*icide in St. Petersburg, near Lealman have been identified as Sayuri Jade Ruiz, 14, and Hector Phieffer, 17.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night, a 17-year-old boy shot a 14-year-old girl and then turned the gun on himself.

According to preliminary investigations, the 17-year-old, now identified as Pfeiffer, was dog-sitting and decided to invite a friend, Alex Spasiano, and two teen girls he had recently met on social media to his place.

The quartet is believed to have consumed alcohol and drugs and then at a point during the evening, a fight ensued.

Pfeiffer had earlier located a gun belonging to the homeowner and all four were playing with it and taking photos for social media when the argument broke out.

Once they started arguing he took it and shot Ruiz in the head.

After she died, he shot and killed himself.
