Who were Samantha Cisneros and Taryn Allen? 10-Month-Old Baby Abducted After Mom and Friend Shot Dead in New Mexico

Samantha Cisneros and Taryn Allen have been identified as the two women who were found dead Friday in Ned Houk Park in Clovis, New Mexico.

Officers also discovered an infant car seat, an infant stroller and a small baby bottle left at the scene of the crime.

Investigators believe Cisneros’ 10-month-old baby, Eleia Maria Torres, has been abducted by the perpetrator.

The two ladies were discovered dead on the ground near a silver Dodge minivan. A young female child, now identified as the 5-year-old child of Cisneros, was also discovered injured and is currently receiving treatment at the Plains Regional Medical Center.

Authorities issued an AMBER ALERT for Eleia Maria Torres.

According to New Mexico State Police, she is 28 inches tall, weighs 23 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.

The suspect would be driving a Maroon Honda.

Torres was found early Monday, May 6th, according to the FBI.

The suspect was also arrested, although information about him has yet to come out.

The Clovis Police Department released this statement containing all pertinent info…

“On May 3, 2024, at approximately 4:26 PM, the Clovis Police Department Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a person who believed they found two dead females at Ned Houk Park. Ned Houk Park is a city park located 5 miles north of Clovis. Officers arrived on scene and found two female victims, with apparent gunshot wounds, laying on the ground near a silver Dodge minivan.

“A young female child was also found on the ground suffering from an injury to her head. Officers began giving life-saving measures to the child. Clovis EMS arrived on scene and transported the child to Plains Regional Medical Center. The child was later transferred to a Lubbock, TX area hospital.

“The female victims were identified as Samantha Cisneros, age 23, and Taryn Allen, age 23. Both females were from Texico, NM.

“Officers on scene discovered there was an infant car seat, an infant stroller and a small baby bottle left at the scene. Officers were concerned there was an infant child with the female victims when this incident happened. Officers immediately began searching the area for the infant.

“The 9th Judicial Major Crime Unit was activated and took over the investigation. Through interviews with family members, investigators learned Samantha Cisneros was the mother to the young female child found at the scene and was also the mother to a 10-month-old child, Eleia Maria Torres.

“Investigators believe Eleia Maria Torres has been abducted by the perpetrator of this crime and is in immediate danger. An Amber Alert was issued for Eleia Maria Torres.
This investigation is ongoing.
