Who is Jason Paynter? Huntington Pastor Loses Eldest Daughter In Serious Car Accident, 2nd Daughter in Critical Condition

A Huntington, West Virginia pastor with the Good Shepherd Holiness Church, Jason Paynter and his wife have suffered a massive loss following a car accident.

Their three daughter were involved in a wreck that led to the eldest, Raelyn, losing her life while the second eldest, Isabella had to undergo emergency brain surgery and remains in critical condition.

Their third daughter, Lainey, is thankfully ok.

The news of this tragic turn of events was revealed in several posts on social media by those who knew the family.

The Jackson Avenue Church of God wrote on Facebook: “Please pray for Bro. Jason Paynter family….his 3 daughters were in a Major car wreck today. His oldest (Raelyn) passed away, middle daughter (Reese) in ICU after surgery with a brain bleed- next 24hrs very Critical for her. Youngest is expected to be alright. He is Pastor at the church a block away from ours and has filled in for us Numerous times,”

Paul Blanton also revealed the current situation of the girls after speaking with the pastor.

“Just heard from Pastor Jason Paynter and as you would expect, they are in unimaginable hurt and pain right now. Their oldest daughter, Raelyn (17) has passed away and Isabella Reece (16), the second oldest daughter, had emergency brain surgery and is in critical condition. Lainey (13) is ok. I can’t even begin to comprehend what they’re going through. They desperately need for us to hold them up in prayer,” he said.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe was started to raise funds to help the family cover the expected mounting medical bills.

Hi my name is Grace, I am doing a fundraiser for the Paynter Family. Their 3 daughters were in a car crash 1 passed away the other one is in very critical condition the other one walked away ok! The funds will be used for funeral and hospital expenses,” Grace Glasgow, who started the fundraiser, wrote on GoFundMe.
