Brad Reckling Wife and Kids – All About Family of Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy Killed in Ambush

Brad Reckling, 30, an Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy was killed in the line of duty Sunday, June 23rd.

Reckling, was ambushed and killed during an auto theft investigation that originated in Madison Heights and led investigators to the city of Detroit.

He leaves behind a pregnant wife, Jacqueline, and three kids.

At around 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, Deputy Bradley Reckling and other detectives with the Auto Theft Unit were searching for a car stolen earlier in the day.

Reckling located the vehicle, with three occupants, and he followed while coordinating with the other detectives.

While continuing surveillance of the stolen car the driver suddenly stopped, and the occupants opened fire on the Deputy.

He was transported to a local area hospital but died from his wounds.

The three occupants of the stolen car fled the scene, but were apprehended a short time later.

Deputy Reckling was a nine-year veteran leaves behind his loving wife Jacqueline and three beautiful daughters, Alyana (6), Isabella (4), and Scarlett (1).

The couple were expecting their 4th child as Jacqueline is currently pregnant.
